Do I Need A Telescope?

You absolutely do NOT need to own a telescope to join an astronomy club. In fact, many clubs have loaner equipment specifically for members who don't have their own telescope.

Many clubs also have their own observatories which house larger instruments that are available for use by the membership. And members of astronomy clubs are very generous in sharing the views through their telescopes with other members and visitor to observing sessions.
